After many years of searching I finally purchased a home on Hatteras Island. Our overall intention is to make the home as comfortable as possible. Having rented in the past, I was always disappointed that smaller homes didn't have the amenities that the large McMansions tend to offer. I tried to consider all of the things I would like to have on vacation and the aesthetic qualities of the experience as well. Let's face it, No one wants to live in an ugly dumpy house for a week.
